I was trying out grossbeats on OSX in logic, but the make it really too much hassle. After looking at options, the rhythmizer seems like it will do identical timing stuff. I am simulating a timing effect for a simple stop tape or stop record sound. I am getting a static noise during the slow down that is not going to be acceptable. Any suggestions on how to solve this? Logic Pro X, mac pro quad 2.66. Yosemite 10.10.5

As I responded on the email
:
sadly this is a bug in Logic - it doesn't report correct position in project. Try changing Tempo to maximum (Tempo sync), it will probably work fine afterwards. We cannot do anything about the bug, you can report it to Apple, but they generally don't care...

seems like messing with the sync slider fixed it. i never touched it actually until you mentioned it. then after moving it either way fixed it.

Yes, that's because by doing that you override the synchronization, hence the logic's buggy position reporting.
