Hi Vojtech,

Is it possible to do feedback detection in MAnalyser and have MAnalyser output information regarding which frequency is feeding back? And if not, please could you consider implementing it?

A usecase/story could be:
As a frontengineer i do live sound, using computer only. I insert MAnalyser in the sidechain on MDynamicEq on each microphonechannel. When MAnalyser detects feedback, it outputs the frequency, having MDynamic reducing the frequency dynamically - thus eliminating the feedback, such that i can max out the volume with all the other cool Meldaplugs :D

Best Regards,
Nicolai Bob

Hi Nicolai,

I'm afraid that won't happen. Anyway I think you should be able to do that in MSpectralDynamics ;).

Hi Vojtech,

Could you elaborate on
you should be able to do that in MSpectralDynamics
Do you mean, that MSpectralDynamics can do feedback detection automatically? Or are you referring to the fact that MSpectralDynamics can do a very narrow band attenuation?

Nicolai :-)

Both probably. You cannot really say what feedback is except it is very high in level, so you can draw a shape in MSpectralDynamics that will kill all frequencies above certain level.
