Come on TSC your company have been known for its good reasoning and users friendly Qualities don't go to leftfield on us. My issue is the FEES and sales TAX, it should be no Tax for a download thats coming straight from TSC an is not a third party dealer If you need the money I would rather see a price 175 then a price of 150 then the tax takes it to 167 and some change WHAT 18 dollars tax did it come from the Moon or the new website is located on Mars witch one. If you want the 168 try to make it sound and feel better like (example) charge 175 but give whatever percent discount that make the final cost be 168 now that sound and feel better than seeing 18 dollars of tax in your shopping cart it make the customer have questions about buying it I would think a lot of people would aggree angain not mad at the final price just a little disappointed at seeing that much sales tax from such a reasonable company but if the tax is for a lifetime updated of Bio Tek that would be great but I still think theses fees should be included in the sales price

Try living in the EU - 20% VAT
Edit: Not necessarily on Biotek (haven't tried to buy), but generally any plugins / software you buy in the EU.

I didn't no that. Maybe I got to comfortable but I still would advertise it with the total sales price so it make me think I am getting a discount. TSC should add the tax in the advertised sales price and say you giving a discount that is a percentage is equal to that of the sale tax, wala, sounds and feels beter to the customer.mcnelson wrote:Try living in the EU - 20% VAT

Tax is entirely dependent on the buyers location - we have to report to the government the geographical destination of our sales and pay taxes - the system adjusts tax rate depending on your billing address
There is obviously not a single global tax rate, otherwise we would simply add to the advertised price

I noticed there's any "additional fee" of $4.85 after adding to the shopping cart. Just curious what this is? It's not sales tax, which is accounted for on a separate line.
