With that said, they have most definitely not lost consumers due to their decision. Bitwig 2.0 (as long as their milestones have been implemented) will be the most advanced DAW, with competitors struggling to catch up due to sloppy foundation. With artists such as Deadmau5 and Dodge & Fuski using this DAW already, when the live collaboration gets added, many others will be interested.panox80 wrote:in live you can do all what you want..stop.
if team deicide to unlock modular system and make the daw more elastic in some things ,maybe people starts to consider to buy this...
if we see 2.0 after 1 or 2 years i think only who enjoy to make tester continue to use this..because this is the reality...we are tester here.
i enjoy with this daw but i continue to make my works in ableton because is better,i want to do a thing, live do it!!!...if they started with modular unlock from 1.0 i think a lot of people consider to buy this daw(see max and reaktor history)...so,i really need to have a license that i don't use so much??
i really consider to sell this daw again..and when they are at 2.0 is too late to catch users from other daws, because other daw do something else better...hope they do the right choice in the future updates...else continue to stay with 0.77%
this is only my point of view and sorry for the offtopic
marry xmas
I also don't really get what you mean what you mean when you suggest that Bitwig isn't as capable as Ableton?
at this point of daw (for me is stable and you can work fine, but sure need lots improvment) i'd like to have some step sequencers (for melody and drums)..and a f**king randomizazion device or commands for all devices and maybe for piano roll like FL and why not..an option like in cubase to randomize audio file list in browser(i do this in osx with a script and in win with a little software but i'd like to see in the box,i really love these randmize options in live with max, this daw is build on modular system so i don't understand because team don't add this from the begin)
a mix mode with little columns will be cool but is not a big priority now (but need this too, hope they study something)
this is what i'd like to see before people begin to create modules after 2.0 (need to wait a couple of years???),because when we have modular unlock we can do all what we want (i hope)
after almost 2 year we don't have a spectrum device or a spectrum in eq (really?why i need to use external plug in?this daw can do all!!..a graphic on limiter is really need now?? NO, or is better to have something in eq?YES) too much little basic things missed for a daw born in 2014 for me
i'm an user since 1 week of launch,i love to supprot this guys but it seem they don't understand they can start where other daw arrive in 8 -9 years of updates
and please don't talk about "superstars djs" because is all a marketing option, they don't pay for software...we yes
