Yep, that's the chirp. Mac here as well. I've been using computer keyboard with caps.WXLF wrote:Just got a chance to try it and there is definitely a chirping noise. (MAC OS)Ogopogo wrote:Yeah, I hear it on the default preset here (so christmas osc is off). Sounds like it could be something to do with the filter envelope being erratic. It could also be described as a "shwip" sound. It's showing up kinda randomly at the beginning of some notes. The frequency of the chirps seems to be related to how long I've been playing it. In order words if I make a new polysynth track and start mashing notes there will be a lot of chirps, but after a while they start disappearing.
It seems to occur more often when using the caps lock keyboard to input notes versus playing back midi.

I can second that windows 7 has some serious bitwig crashes. I run windows 10 on 2 computers. But as soon as i ran on windows 7 i crash it as soon as engine button is hit lol

"IMPROVED - Made pencil tool smarter - it now lets you move and extend notes/clips without having to switch to the arrow tool."
just a bit more smarter to able to resize the loop regions too and draw it with correct starting points

what is the logic behind it

I wish i could in option change where i want pencil tool to be active. Like i could deactive pencil for clips and work with normal selection tool but whenever dragging cursor over pianoroll it turns to pencil. Would be great for me though to be able in preferences to say where u want pencil tool. I never use it in arranger but maybe automation sometimes and allways pianoroll. Anyway would be cool to me

if u keep your left hand on the keyboard then worth to assign the pencil to 'B' as is in Ableton Live and keeping it pressed till need it (working naturally for me as AL user

Love the choke and all seems to be well so far but I'd LOVE to have an "All" option in the choked by and chokes target. Essentialy making the drum machine monophonic. Trying to do it manually is painfully slow :/
