It'll not be win-only eventually. It will just need an IDE update when I can afford one.

But im still looking into answering that question of having intelligent next chord options without being so vague about it.

More would be needed IMO as input than just the previous chord and current scale (without going into too much detail), like a nice chord of some other scale that you can hear happening somewhere (finding and using modulating chords to filter other chords is a cornerstone of CWPA).
But I still don't get what CB means by 'intelligent options'.

That sounds good and I'm sure it works well being cubase.

I hope that my last statement was not taken as a reaction to its results cause I haven't used it.

I was just curious how it limits the choices, and if it gives you the option to expand them.

Like I think its interesting sometimes to just use unnamed note clusters for example - filtered of course.

Currently it's 75 USD.

The 'Buy' button on the program's license window will show the amount.

I believe you can filter the list for freeware at Hitsquad Music Software.

My only suggestion is to get something high on the list - less buggy.

Anybody finding any bugs with this?

P.S.
There's no sea of apps that does all this does. Simpler as in fewer features, yes, if that's what you need but don't listen to first-glance opinions.

Harmony Improvisator is the only one I know of that does exactly that, in vst. It 'works', but I hate using it. Buggy, unstable, wonky. Designed by a.. musician, I think.

Well now you've found another one that does that.

Although to preview options you just click on chords from a list you've filtered to meet your needs and use undo/redo - there's also a auto-undo if you want to keep it based on the previous chord without using undo every time.

You can also store your preview session in real-time.

Its all harmonically correct too because the replacement control options are all systematically based on a minimal change algorithm from the previous chord.

And this can be done either per section or a whole store location to be sequenced (if you want to be lazy), or with selected channels and/or a note area on the piano roll.

BTW how's the stability compare to doing this with vst?

I have not installed it on the DAW, but it will not launch on my web machine.
