I understand that the FMO is not capable of this on it's own, but is there an alternative method of accomplishing this or getting to a similar sound?

This question is mainly inspired by my attempt to recreate a Massive patch in Zebra to understand the synth better. The Massive patch uses 'Phase Modulation', which I believe essentially performs FM using the oscillator as a carrier and a sine wave as the modulator. Does a feature in Zebra do anything like this, or does anyone have a tip for accomplishing that by other means?
