I'm not entirely clear on whether this supports Alchemy that comes with Logic X. Has anyone tried the Alchemy format with this?

I think Dune 2 can just handle wavetables with up to 64 waveforms and it has the .wt format.
Sadly it will not work with the current architecture wavetables
And you can use Galbanum waves in it, if you want.
^^completely missing the point.
We can all make wavetables if we want with freely available tools and methods. No prizes for pointing that out. What's on sale here is the convenience of not having to do that (Assuming you own the Architecture Waveforms to make them from). Andrew asked for wavetable format suggestions, and that's what we should give him. If we're going to exclude any form of wavetable we can make ourselves then he may as well not sell a wavetable pack at all.
I for one would like to see a comprehensive pack, as it would be a PITA to make the amount of wavetables on offer in the various wavetable formats.

My short answer again.... i would like to buy (again) a format which fits for Dune 2, so that i don´t have to do a workaround.
I already bought it and used it in Falcon but i would much prefer it inside Dune 2!

I have tried Galbanum demo files (wav 24-bit) with Corona and Discovery Pro and they are working great!

I actually still don't know the answer to this myself... I've tried to find where Alchemy 2 saves its waveforms, but so far I have not found the folder location. It is possible the Apple version has the the waveforms "baked-in" and we can not add user waves.dannyhawaii wrote:I'm not entirely clear on whether this supports Alchemy that comes with Logic X. I've sent a question to Apple, but so far I don't have an answer...
if anyone knows anything else, feel free to comment...

I've sent Richard at Synapse a PM (I guess he is the main dude? I have not worked with Synapse before.). I'm happy to support Dune if someone tells me what needs to be done...Cinebient wrote: My short answer again.... i would like to buy (again) a format which fits for Dune 2, so that i don´t have to do a workaround.

It would be great if you worked with Rich on this. Dune 2 is great for wavetables. I think it interpolates differently than other wavetables synths from what I heard, but don't quote me on that.
I read more than post = I listen more than I talk

Please feel free to suggest it to him too... if he is resistant to the idea for any odd reason, if additional users suggest it to him, I would bet he would consider it more favorably... then again I don't know why anyone would be resistant to the idea of allowing their synth's tonal pallet to be vastly expanded...Saukar30 wrote:It would be great if you worked with Rich on this. As mentioned elsewhere this is the same content that has been partially responsible for powering award winning synths such as NI Massive, Camel Audio (aka Apple) Alchemy, products from Tone2, SynthMaster, ROLI, FAW, and others...
so, I saw, let's get it in Dune 2, and any other product you guys want too...
Zebra is def on the wish-list too, as mentioned...

I'll take a look. thanks!acYm wrote:Hmm. There's something wrong with Iterative AM in Serum. All the waveforms in the table are null except one with a spike in it.

I will ask for it too in the synapse audio forumGalbanum wrote:Please feel free to suggest it to him too... if he is resistant to the idea for any odd reason, if additional users suggest it to him, I would bet he would consider it more favorably... then again I don't know why anyone would be resistant to the idea of allowing their synth's tonal pallet to be vastly expanded...Saukar30 wrote:It would be great if you worked with Rich on this. Roli? I have a seaboard rise and the equator synth. Anyone knows a way to import wavetables there? That would be my next choice then

I alraedy had the Galbanum single waveforms collection and just upgraded to the wavetable format (for 14.95$). So far those wavetables seem to work nicely in UVI Falcon.
To be used properly in Falcon you have to add "_2048" (= 2048 samples waveform size)at the end of the file name (example "001_2048.WAV"). If not only a single waveform will be used.

Anybody have problems getting the discount for owners of other formats? I copied and pasted the discount code and got this message:
The coupon has been successfully applied for . HOWEVER No reducion available please see the coupon restrictions
What restrictions? I am a registered (at least I think I am registered) owner of Galbanum Architecture Waveforms Cakewalk Edition. Could the Cakewalk aspect be the problem?
