I am trying without success to export midi files. Latest version 6 installed today.

I use EXPORT, Render to file, format - MIDI File, with various combinations of options. It looks like it is going through the process but I get no files actually output.

What am I doing wrong, any suggestions appreciated?

Try unchecking the Pass Through Plug-Ins option. Let us know what happens.

Thanks for the suggestion but had tried that.

Just figured it out though, I had to remove all instruments and effects. Not very intuitive. Exported midi fine once they were removed.

Weird. That shouldn't be necessary. Mine did it without that.

Back in the day (T2, T3) this IS how you would export midi. Haven't needed that function for awhile, so I'm not sure if that was ever changed.
