I use the fabfilter eq (its sooooo amazing) a lot and havent had this happen. I'll double check and set it up asyou described thoughcodec17 wrote:eeeuh yeah.....? what? LOL
Anyhow when i got some GUI,s open from vst,s (specially the combination of 2 fabfilter eq and a waves plugin for instance) it start to crackle sometimes. When close them its gone again.
Am i the only one who notice that?

W7sp1 x64 intel i7-3770 3.4ghz 16gb-RAM and nvidia gtx970...ive had a few plugins causse what you describe on another host though, amazingly it turned out to be gfx driver related and a complete removal of the video drivers with a driver cleaner+ reinstall fixed it.
Well then i have to look overthere with the drivers etc... (and im a such a noob when it comes down to those things...
And yes FFeq is the best IMHO! 150 euros here, i thought for an EQ? Never thought about it again when in use.

Still from 1.3.5: IMPROVED - Fold state for drum machine clips shows note name in front of the pad name.
But when you got a long name why still the dots? Rather have 2 letters instead...
(yup tis is superdooper whining over something.... nothing!)
But its a wink to this: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=412645 maybe these are the first footsteps towards it?

I had similar gui problems with pro q 2 and the Moog Sub 37 editor.codec17 wrote:eeeuh yeah.....? what? LOL

No crackles, but the GUI was unresponsive, kept open with a spinning beachball when hover over the GUI. Bitwig itself kept responsive.
Had to restart BW to go back to normal.
Think it happened when inserting a plugin when transport is running.

Hmm... I haven't had any problems with my Pro-Q2 at all thankfully. Running 1.3.6 RC1 on OS 10.11.3 (Beta). Didn't all the Fabfilter plugins receive updates? Maybe try updating?PHY6 wrote:I had similar gui problems with pro q 2 and the Moog Sub 37 editor.codec17 wrote:eeeuh yeah.....? what? LOL

I played with Q2 for a while and didn't manage to get any problems, but because I think I know what this could be I did a little google of the subject. I suspect it's a hardware acceleration problem as from what specs people are posting it looks like everything on their system should EASILY be coping.
First off : Most likely fix would be to completely uninstall gfx drivers and download and install the latest for your card.
Second : The following is from the fabfilter forums. It's to DISABLE acceleration but we want to double check acceleration is ON
so basically don't change this to 0 unless you want to disable it for testing.
I REALLY hope this works for you anyway, if it doesn't then apologies for making you waste your time trying this

You may also be able to see on the DSP performance graph. I'm guessing that it's average is low but it's getting some very sharp peaks when moving the Fabfilter GUI around. If your CPU is having to do additional hardware acceleration because the GFX card acceleration isn't working properly, it could cause the audio to miss it's deadline because of these spikes and would explain the crackling you can hear.Windows: Click the Start button, type 'regedit', Enter to open the Registry Editor. (You might have to give permission to continue.) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FabFilter. Right-click and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name it GraphicsAcceleration and ensure its value is 0.
Mac OS X: Open Terminal and type: defaults write com.fabfilter.Common GraphicsAcceleration 0
The above steps will turn off graphics acceleration for all FabFilter plug-ins. To re-enable it, change the value 0 to 1 in the steps above.

"IMPROVED - Made pencil tool smarter - it now lets you move and extend notes/clips without having to switch to the arrow tool."
please add the note velocity modifier too, it also works only with the arrow tool (pressed ctrl+shift)

I disagree. I like having a little space left over to the right, so in case I want to adjust note lengths that fall at the very end, I don't have to worry about not being able to click on the ends without scrolling or zooming back in.
