To be honest I'm quite new to synthesizers both software and hardware so I struggle with making synth sounds however I find the quality of zebra2 is stupendous I can't really think of anything that I would find beneficial to add except an audio to Wavetable converter so instead I will take this opportunity to ask Urs, what are you thinking of adding to zebra3?
any new year info or teasers?

Any chance we could get 'blocks' support in Zebra 3, similar to blocks in Reaktor, modular pieces that someone could packetize for re-use and sharing, i.e. sections of OSC/filter/mod et rest and these could be re-assembled and combined? Having a custom UI surface for custom UI would be the icing of the cake...

Or buy the (freaking amazing) Dark Zebra and get it for free. If you don't have DZ yet, please wait no more.sempondr wrote:If it makes Howard excited, it's time to start saving up.Howard wrote:+1NAD wrote:OMGOMGOMG

I got this ad from 2C Audio about a week ago:
Our sister company Galbanum has just updated its Galbanum Architecture Waveforms 2010 collection to include the much requested Wavetable Format. This format is ideal for use in Wavetable synths such as Xfer Records Serum, Waves Codex, UVI Falcon, and many others. Wavetable synths combine multiple waveforms into a single file that can easily be scanned to quickly change the waveform or morph between waveforms to achieve incredibly dynamic timbres. A good wavetable synth is an indispensable sonic tool, but it is only as good as its wavetables.
I'm still not sure about how much of a "format" this really is, but if this is going to become a useful standard for adding new wavetables to wavetable synths, I'd like to see Zebra 3 also have the ability to read this format.

^ I was going to post about that too. I'd really like to see those waves able to be loaded into zebra 3
While not important to sound I'd like a UI overhaul too. The Pokemod skins go some way in improving but I think could be even better.
