Those magazines have currently (for 20 hours or so) back issues for half price or the whole back catalog for 44.90 €, about 80 issues available for FM and CM at least.Fleer wrote:This is fun. Here's one I got for Rhythm: BHXNU
And if you download Total Guitar, this is the one for Guitar Techniques: NKPRL
And if you download Guitar Techniques this is the one for Guitarist: ALZQB
AND AT LAST
if you download Guitarist, this is the one for Future Music: 47TGJ
Edit: all of these are general codes, so jump at it!
Anyone remember if there was any particularly nice magware in the recent years - in a particular issue, or could one justify getting the whole back catalog?

Well it's Sunday 1/3, and I got receipts from them and from PayPal for the new month, all good.DJBuddhaBear wrote:I think it was the 3rd last month as well.
But the download link in the Track Spark email gets me the December bundle, again. That's what shows on their home page too.
Two things wrong w that: It's not the new January content, and it used up another December download. Actually two, since I didn't save the first time I clicked it, thinking it was wrong, which still used up a download, then I actually did download it to make sure the actual content was from last month, and it wasn't just a wrong file name.
Anyone else getting this?

These days each issue usually comes with a CM version of a plugin that gets added to the vault every month. So if you buy any issue you get all the CM plugins released up to that point.
I can't think of any great magware that came with CM recently (I think Rapture was the last). The further back you go, the more you run the risk of incompatibility (IIRC Rapture has issues with Macs because part of the installer is still PowerPC).
It's a good deal if you want to have all the issues. Maybe look back at old articles or whatever. But I wouldn't buy them for the bundled software alone.

Emailed Track Spark, got this reply almost instantly:
Doesn't quite cover the situation, but it looks at least like they're on it.I'm really sorry about that. We had a big delay with the Jan bag and we're uploading it now. I sent an email the other day to say it would be today but maybe it didn't come to you. Will be in touch very soon.
Please accept my apologies.
All the best,
Tim

Thought it`s a good idea to open up a TrackSpark thread on effects section to have everything in one place.dwozzle wrote:rockhopper wrote:January Track Spark just appeared in my inboxmsorrels wrote:The January bag email says it won't be available till Sunday though. :-<Well it's Sunday 1/3, and I got receipts from them and from PayPal for the new month, all good.DJBuddhaBear wrote:I think it was the 3rd last month as well.

Ask.Audio has a sale ending soon for $99 for a yearly subscription.

I posted this in the Deals thread.. but also wanted to know what people thought about these or other site's courses (as a somewhat beginner, looking for a good source)

I agree it's good to have everything about TS in one place, instead of interspersed with other topics in the bargains discussion. Effects is as good a location as any I guess, unless they open their own forum, which would make sense, since as Num points out, they don't necessarily have effects every month, and they do haveOmkar wrote:Thought it`s a good idea to open up a TrackSpark thread on effects section to have everything in one place.
other types of content.
Anyway, Omkar's thread is here:

Hopefully they will start their own forum, and that thread can get moved there.

I can ask Ben to place it somewhere else, maybe "Everything else ..." ?Numanoid wrote:There won't be effects every month, last month was a soundpack, hopefully there will also be synth plugs
I asked Tim to open up a Company support thread from the very beginning
but he seems to be short on time.

Thanks Fleer and sprnva!
Note: For CM, it says the Complete your collection contains 79 issues, and the app shows back issues until Nov 2009. It's likely that the Specials are not included in the Complete your catalog offer.sprnva wrote: It's a good deal if you want to have all the issues. Maybe look back at old articles or whatever. 78 over here for Future Music back to nov 2009, because of this month's freebie.sprnva wrote:Funnily enough it looks like the price is fixed. It's quoting me €44.99 for 64 issues. So the more issues you own, the worse the deal
Still, I've been wondering for a while which would be the best place for subscriptions: Zinio or the Apple/Android app stores.
