Well, all of that crap aside, I was essentially lied to. Surely they knew V3 was going to be released within a week and not months which means a V3 demo was certainly available for me to test and make my purchase decision based on the new GUI.
I guess they just didn't want my business at the sale price and expected me to pay full price after it was released one week after my email.
If they think I will ever forget this, they are sadly mistaken.
Not the way to do business.

On another note. All seems to be good on PC as well.

Just as a note and for the record...
As with the OS X version, the Windows version of v3 is STILL in BETA! This means that they consider it testing as they move forward. I have no idea what is in store and what final changes will be made. And that still may be a month off.

I think it's fair to say Sylenth is a great synth and probably the first classic of the software age but LD record for support is terrible and definitely indefensible. They have pissed off a lot of users over the years.

I think it's fair to say that Sylenth has been an excellent and perfectly useable synth for a long, long time. It took some time(!) for 64-bit Sylenth to arrive, but in fairness we knew we were buying a 32-bit synth, when we bought it years ago (and was it impossible to use a 32-bit plugin on a 64 bit DAW?).
But some people (mostly non-purchasers) just want to be hysterical about the development team because it's easy to do so on an internet forum.
Eg, a quick profile check on wagtune's KVR postings in the past few days will show completely contradictory statements / demands about buying this synth!
There were no ''lies'' told. No deception.
Ultimately, it is our own choice whether to buy a synth or not.
News of the beta has been up on Facebook, Youtube and Twitter for about 5 weeks, eg:

By "support" I mean supporting the development of the product not day to day technical support, it was years (8 I think !!!!) before they got 64 bit for Mac. For me, the 32 bit version with small Gui was OK,
but this beta for win can be nice!
I hope the not beta version comes soon.
I also hope that some day Korg (and N.I.) updates its synths to resizable GUI.

I think we will see NI updates soon. Korg...well, we can only wish. The VST haven't seen love since before iOS 6 and the release of their apps. I still hope for an Electribe VST.dune_rave wrote:I hope the not beta version comes soon.

Sylenth1 is bound to be final sometime soon. I am sure they are taking in the bug reports. Who knows Sylenth2 may be on its way. Doubt it though. Hard to beat a great sounding, low CPU, easy to program VST like it is in its current state.

I doubt N.I. will make resizable versions of Massive, FM8 etc...
They do updates, but those are fixes, and anyway, they sell all kinds of "accessories" but they don't make new synths...

The new skin looks absolutely great. They've toned down all the garish green/yellow, flattened most of the overly shiny embossing (including the logo, keys, modwheel).... even the drop-shadows on the main LCD panel are gone. It's much cleaner and more sophisticated looking - something that I could stare at for hours without wanting to Photoshop it to death.
