Nothing wrong with that, it might not even be the case that a vector UI performs any better (my guess it's actually opposite). I'm perhaps referring more to design decisions than actual technical implementation. Computer UIs are in general not built out of faux chrome and bakelite potentiometer knobs, there's no reason why VSTs should be.

Anyway, U-he UIs are resizable to the same extent it's practical to resize vector UIs, advantages need to be looked elsewhere.

I agree, the piecemeal information-drip of the default layout is great for getting to grips with Zebra, but now that I know how everything works (that's not to say I've 'mastered' Zebra) it's great to get a big layout with everything visible at a glance.

Anyway, interesting to get your take on it, Urs.

Personally, I really like the look of Redux as well, although that's largely just window dressing.
