I got mine!
I wonder why you are talking about the 'official ver. 3 (Win) release' because there aren't any.

You can check this by choosing 'check for updates' in your GUI menu.
Anaway, this what my Sylenth1 ver. 2.212 tells me: "no available updates".

If the developer will serve his clients, he puts information of the updates to his site AND sends a message to his existing, paying customers by the given email.
Not share this kind of essential information just to the arbitrary Twitter visitors.
Non-official, beta versions are different story, but no official ver. 3 Win yet.

I'm not sure who started this thread here, or why, but I'd like to clear up some things:

We did NOT release Sylenth1 v3.0! We only released a beta test version, which can now be tested to locate problems and bugs. This is no official release and we don't want anyone to think that! If everyone would start downloading it as if it were a official release, then we'd get overloaded with emails about minor bugs, which will just slow down progress.

Also, there is no demo version available yet. When all problems and bugs are fixed, we will create a demo version and launch the v3.0 version officially. All of this is expected to take a few weeks or maybe even months, depending on how many problems we need to fix.

So please close this thread, or at least someone move it to our forum instead.

The new skin looks absolutely great. They've toned down all the garish green/yellow, flattened most of the overly shiny embossing (including the logo, keys, modwheel).... even the drop-shadows on the main LCD panel are gone. It's much cleaner and more sophisticated looking - something that I could stare at for hours without wanting to Photoshop it to death.

(sorry I'm a graphic designer)

Happy New Year Sylenth1!
At least one can make the GUI larger because, while everything looks better now, the display fonts seem more fragile than before. And the displays have always been my biggest problem to begin with.

And why brown in the waveform, filter and such displays? Sylenth is obviously supposed to look like hardware, but I don't know of any hardware display with brown content. There are so many other colors they could have picked instead, colors that were found on hw and which are more striking, given all the other brown stuff. Why not keep the green? I don't understand designers, they seem so lost in mere appearance that they forget about content, usability, etc.

BTW, I have not requested the beta, just commenting on the screenshots.

Because it's easier to look at for longer time, especially if your eyes are a bit irritated and vision a bit hazy.

All three are exactly the case with me.
It looks better at first glance now, but unless they fix the phaser bug, I am not sure I will even upgrade because the new GUI doesn't make things better for me. Sure, I can increase it to compensate for the worse displays, but then my monitor is almost full.

I also liked the orange lit LED's better than the new ones, which don't strike out nor look realistic. I can't even read the Part A/B labels on those big LED's at the top anymore.

guys,
I have problems with Studio one 3, I installed sylenth but I cant drop it in the arrangment view.
I had no problem with version 2.

has this happened to you too?

There is some irony in Lennard himself posting official information, and everybody ignoring it.

Right. We all just sit by the computer and looking at Sylenth for hours. Who has such a luxury? People playing video games for days with full color spectrum and constant movement and survive. This is the same as to say that they made sound levels low in the plugin to avoid ear fatigue. There are 7 colors in the rainbow. Why not red, pink, purple? This is not to avoid eye fatigue- this is just male oriented, assuming that all users are men and only will like blue, green and brown. Typical male colors.

By the way- I had a problem with version 2- the filter knobs had no limit, and when turning hardware knob, clockwise, it would make filter knob jump left and right. It also would go large increments, not smooth. Is it improved?

ok, I reinstalled the version 2, I did not see Lennard's post

Well, this is what happens when the OP essentially posts a thread that is untrue.

This is why we have so many problems in the world because people speak before they think.

Post

In fairness to the OP, I could have sworn a LD tweet saying what he did.
Now I don't see it, not sure if it was removed or just my imagination :-)

Well, it's one of the reasons.
