what about more customization in v2.8 - people who do their own patches to have more options and easily to operate with their stuff - like to save them in a folder within SynthMaster/Presets folder with custom name and use them this way and easily to offer the pack of patches for selling with their brand name - i don't see soundbank export function in v2.7 correct me if i'm wrong

So what you are saying is the folder name will be sort of bank name? That makes sense!VilianTroy wrote:what about more customization in v2.8 - people who do their own patches to have more options and easily to operate with their stuff - like to save them in a folder within SynthMaster/Presets folder with custom name and use them this way and easily to offer the pack of patches for selling with their brand name - i don't see soundbank export function in v2.7 correct me if i'm wrong

yeah sort of - more easy just to save patch in a subfolder within the SyntMaster/Preset and to work with patches directly - why to make patches ,then export soundbank, then to import the sound bank and finally to use patches - just an opinion :)Have a nice day

my humble annoying person again with new ask:)every time i play Synthmaster i become more addicted to all its possibilities but minutes ago something very silly happen and its very annoying - i like how easy can morph waveforms in wavetable section and how much options i have but after i played a bit with an idea for bass patch i reopen it again i realize that i don't remember what waveforms i used so to use this combination for something else -it wasn't serious attempt to do something so i didn't pay attention and now nothing gives me information which one is used - so my question is -is it possible somehow to see what waveforms are used in wavetable section to avoid above mentioned case in the future in v2.8 or there is some technical limitation about this.I know its stupid situation but it is happening - also is it possible to move these squares where we load waveforms and to exchange their places cuz sometimes i am loading 4-5 different waveforms and then i want to morph betwin 1 and 4 only or something like this and i can not .Thanks for the attention

For the first problem -> save the instance of your plugin as a patch when you have a sound you may use in a future.VilianTroy wrote:my humble annoying person again with new ask:)every time i play Synthmaster i become more addicted to all its possibilities but minutes ago something very silly happen and its very annoying - i like how easy can morph waveforms in wavetable section and how much options i have but after i played a bit with an idea for bass patch i reopen it again i realize that i don't remember what waveforms i used so to use this combination for something else -it wasn't serious attempt to do something so i didn't pay attention and now nothing gives me information which one is used - so my question is -is it possible somehow to see what waveforms are used in wavetable section to avoid above mentioned case in the future in v2.8 or there is some technical limitation about this.I know its stupid situation but it is happening - also is it possible to move these squares where we load waveforms and to exchange their places cuz sometimes i am loading 4-5 different waveforms and then i want to morph betwin 1 and 4 only or something like this and i can not .Thanks for the attention

yeah maan i do it but in other cases you have totally different patch settings and if you wanna try previous combination of morphed wavetables you can not use previously saved patch -that's what i mean - interesting SM save the patch somewhere in .smpr format and also (i don't know how or where )it gives you accesses to the same preset you saved in the main menu with the same name . Magic

Finally done with the filters! Here's some Acid filter samples (make sure you download the audio files from SoundCloud instead of streaming). The engine quality is 'draft', i.e. NO oversampling at all
https://soundcloud.com/kv331synthmaster ... algorithms
The same sequence is played 4 times:
1. 12 dB/oct filter with Basic nonlinearities
2. 12 dB/oct filter with High nonlinearities
3. 24 dB/oct filter with Basic nonlinearities
4. 24 dB/oct filter with High nonlinearities
There are subtle differences between the 4, based on the nonlinearities and filter slope.
CPU Usage (based on my MacMini Intel i5, measurements are directly from SynthMaster, not DAW)
%0.2 idle
%0.4 saw osc
%0.6 saw osc+"basic" filter algorithm
%0.9 saw osc+"high" filter algorithm

So you mean to save "patches" of the different parts of the synth? Like for example save an osc 1 patch, save a FX patch, and so on?VilianTroy wrote:yeah maan i do it but in other cases you have totally different patch settings and if you wanna try previous combination of morphed wavetables you can not use previously saved patch -that's what i mean - interesting SM save the patch somewhere in .smpr format and also (i don't know how or where )it gives you accesses to the same preset you saved in the main menu with the same name . 'patch' is the old person word for 'preset.'

if english is your third foreign language you don't really care about semantics young man :)especially if they both mean the same :)why we discuss such a pointless things - a beautiful new filter is coming and i'm sure it's annoying for Bulent all that requesting and comments but i hope this will make Synthmaster even better - world is driven by people with passion and he seems like one of thembraj wrote:'patch' is the old person word for 'preset.'

Thanks man, yeah I am really passionate about my work
and have you guys even noticed the CPU numbers I posted: %0.2 CPU cycles for "basic" zero delay ladder filter and %0.5 CPU cycles for "high" zero delay ladder filter @ 44.1 sample rate. Those numbers are even before any SIMD optimizations!

Yeah, like VilianTroy said, I'm sorry but I'm from spain so I don't really dominate englishbraj wrote:'patch' is the old person word for 'preset.'
But it makes sense, anyway.
kv331, the processing percentages are amazing! I also thank you for that because I do everything in a shitty laptop that doesn't get along well with a big number of instances of audio processing units :s

I'm about to finish the analog ADSR envelopes! These will have different envelopes times/sustain values, measured from an analog synth, and hopefuly this time they'll be "snappier" compared to the current envelopes in SM. The envelopes times are between 1 ms - 10 sec.
After this, another important feature implementation is on the way: MIDI Channel rotation/polyphonic pitchbend used in synths like ROLI Seaboard, Keith McMillen QueNexus or guitar synths which output a different MIDI channel for each string. This is gonna be an exciting feature to show off at NAMM 2016!
