Hi, I have an issue when trying to run Electron Overbridge (freely downloadable from Elektron if you would like to test it) within Obscurium, the sound comes out all distorted.

I get the following warning in Overbridge.

Your host buffer size is 32. Only 128 or 256 is recommended.

Is there a way around this?

I am running Ableton 9.5 on OSX.

Thanks.

Isn´t it an ableton issue?
Should be changed in the audio preferences I guess.

I get distorted sounds in Cantabile, when the buffer size of my Fireface isn´t the same as in the
Cantabile settings. Pretty bitcrushed I would describe.

I tried changing settings in Ableton and it made no difference. I'm guessing Obscurium is only allocating a buffer of 32 for any plugins it hosts? Wonder if it would be possible to have it as a setting in Obscurium for the buffer size or if there is some configuration I am missing somewhere.

Running overbridge in ableton outside of obscurium has no issues.

That was my guess, too, so I had a look at the manual. There is no way to set a buffer size for the built-in host part. And the manual has the bold paragraph, that the function is experimental. So perhaps they will add it with an update.. or not.. ;)

Ah I guess I should have RTFM :) I'll live in hope that it will get updated.

I had an email from them, it won't be possible to change the buffer size.
