OK I get you. Yeah its pretty "synthy" and that's why I like itontrackp wrote:Nice track, and the bass is moog like. But the feel of your track is very synthy, sequenced and electronic -- certainly not orchestral or like a live band. My point is that for me, the feel of the sounds this software makes are pushing me compositionally towards a more electronic composition. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's pretty darn digital.CoolColJ wrote:It can do some warm sounds, quick dirty edit of my track, the bass sound I programmed sounds quite Moog likewagtunes wrote:Forget the warm and organic. This is without a doubt the most digital sounding synth I've ever worked on. It's like programming a robot.ontrackp wrote:Yes. I believe it does mod all the keys, and Special Velocity (on) is the controller. I just find it to be a little bit of an indirect process -- having to set up a Multiparameter just for velocity. Although there are a few dedicated velocity controls in the filter and oscillator sections I think.
All in all an interesting and somewhat unique sounding synth. The sound of it is pushing me towards more electronic and synthy sounds rather than trying to make it feel warm and organic.

It's very much in the vain of an analog synth/modular but with a digital sound.
You can make it do otherwise, but it's a bit like asking an analog synth to do the same.
They can do it, certainly my Andromeda, and modulars can do some emulations, but not for everything.
