Nope, just tried it with Zebra. Didn't work.Suloo wrote:u-he stuff if i'm not mistaken for example.
Will bitwig show us an update at namm and not release it for 6 months?

u-he Hive, Bazille and Diva all work (Zebra no, and I haven't actually tried ACE)... Aalto, Kaivo and fxPansion Strobe do too... there are a few others I don't remember at the moment.anp27 wrote:Like which ones?pdxindy wrote:Already working for VST's that support it...
I think what I actually wanted to say was 'Per Note Expression for third party VSTs'.

But at least for Bazille the per note pitch expression doesn't work.pdxindy wrote:u-he Hive, Bazille and Diva all work (Zebra no, and I haven't actually tried ACE)... Back to topic:
I dont miss big things, except one: Intern midi-routing like in the versions before 1.3 with the hw-ins and the iac-driver (now the datas come to target, but there is no monitor-signal). And maybe the possiblity to group sends (export the groups and dragdrop into another song, with all names / fx / settings of the fx...).
But except this i like the way the update now: more fixing and optimizing than a lot of new non-ready-fast-shot-features. Well, the gui/the workflow is quiet ok (much better than the competition and the main-reason for me to use BWS) but far away from really fast and smart.
But i really DONT like early announcing and than waiting and waiting and waiting.

1. Per Note Expression for third party VSTs
2. Movie import
3. Flexible MIDI Channel routing/switching
EDIT: Changed 'Note Expression' to 'Per Note Expression'
I really want them to update/upgrade some more features in their piano roll too.

When you put Bazille into a track, right click on the Bitwig device and select the option "Force MPE Mode"u-u-u wrote:But at least for Bazille the per note pitch expression doesn't work.pdxindy wrote:u-he Hive, Bazille and Diva all work (Zebra no, and I haven't actually tried ACE)... basically we know whats coming with 2.0, so why not showing the stuff that works already? I wouldn't mind having a look, even if it takes time to finish it.

This is just polyphonic aftertouch, which pressure controls in VSTs. So actually a lot of VSTs support that. Like all the u-he synths, Omnisphere, impOscar 2, Poly-Ana, CS-80V and a bunch more I'm sure.xbitz wrote:never tried, so should I have to use pressure modifier for example?
This is not the same as MPE support, which if I'm not mistaken also includes pitch bend per note and I think another modifier that would relate to timbre.
