That was the 1.2 hysteria.svervs wrote:I hope they do show something, and I think they should.

per note expression for VSTs works for those implementing MPE, which in fairness is what BWS set out to achieve... it would be nice if they had more flexibility to support u-he, which is not MPE compliant.anp27 wrote: Bitwig is not quite there for me yet, and I still need to have to Logic around. It would amazing if we got these features this year:
1. Per Note Expression for third party VSTs
2. Movie import
3. Flexible MIDI Channel routing/switching
that's not a solution, it's a workaround...anp27 wrote:I do not miss it either, if I absolutely need it I'll just set the time signature to 1/4 or 1/8, etc. and place the accents/start the phrase where ever appropriate in the composition itself to make it sound like it's in a particular time signature, really not a big deal.Suloo wrote:i just do 4/4 stuff, so not missing here
You can already route 16 midi tracks to 1 vst instrument. What more do you want?thetechnobear wrote:Flexible Midi routing, yes please... in particular allow us to filter by midi channel without having to have 16 copies of the same device! That's not what I was asking. I want to be able to switch between the 16 MIDI Channels within a single track, like this:LimEboy wrote:You can already route 16 midi tracks to 1 vst instrument. What more do you want?

It's not that simple for every composition.anp27 wrote:I do not miss it either, if I absolutely need it I'll just set the time signature to 1/4 or 1/8, etc. and place the accents/start the phrase where ever appropriate in the composition itself to make it sound like it's in a particular time signature, really not a big deal.
Absolutely. I merely stated how I would go about with the situation. And I wouldn't even dream of using any of the "Next" functions with different signatures in this point in time (where different time signatures are not supported).WXLF wrote:It's not that simple for every composition.
-Some plugins require the host to automate the signature.
-The clip launcher needs to know the signature of each clip to make use of the "Next" function properly.
Well, a grid is a grid. You will still be able to line things up and snap, snap does not turn off unless you disable it. It's just that because if the song is in 1/4 or 1/8, every beat will be the "1", and you will have to keep track of where you are by yourself without the metronome telling you where it is.WXLF wrote: -Snapping to the grid will not work properly.
-Not easy to get a visual representation of whats going on and where meters line up.
