...I could not find any info in the current docs...am I correct in assuming the band limits are being set by the energy spectrum at the input, ie before any processing...white/pink noise seems to follow this assumption...and if that is the case what is the sample window size, and could that be made a user adjustable parameter?...very useful, I must say...just noticed it this morning!...

Yeah, i think it splits the bands up based on the energy distribution at the time you select it. I believe it uses the settings in the analyzer settings to figure out the energy, therefore if you want to change the window size, just change the averaging amount in the analyzer settings.

hey VW!, if "it uses the settings in the analyzer settings"...then having an adjustable sample window would make some sense...and it would be nice to "pull" those parameters up to the surface panel.../s~
