Just to clarify, I have the Creative bundle so if I get the MXXX Core it will allow me to use all of its functionality. If thats it, its a great idea.

Nope V you have not.
You placed the word probably at an important place in your proposal, and so still have not decided which way to go.
Besides, as you are extremely familiar with (at least from from developing soft) every option means neglecting alternatives, in this sense; opting means trapping
I smiled when read your "I have a big Excel table for this" about those.

You still have time to opt, and even your decision might be the kind that allows for future additional decisions, similar as what you did so far with MXXX.

For anyone out there suffering the debilitating effects of option anxiety I can highly recommend MTotalBundle.

Next time the bundles on sale i'm in.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

I see that with the new user account feature on the Melda website, bundle price discounts based on previously purchased products are automatically calculated. That should considerably ease the pain for some Melda users when contemplating picking up a bundle. I wonder, however, if that will work in concert with a sale of bundles.

Appeared to work in the flash sale a couple of weeks back.

And right now thanks to Black Friday, MXXXCore is just 49 EUR/52 USD. Very tempting ...

No. It does host all the plugins from Meldaproduction you own.

Is it possible to apply several modulators to a single parameter? That would make me buy it (already have MCreative).

Post

It is possible, but they would interfere each other, when changing in parallel. You could control a value / max value of another modulator, which is controlling a parameter though, which could make more sense.

What would be your plan exactly?

The idea is that multiple modulators are added together. So for example you could have 20% envelope following + 80% LFO, with no limits to how many modulators you can combine.

That would allow for more complex modulation.

Is that already possible?

Post

Yes, it's already possible with only one modulator. In the follower tab, the very first control is 'LFO modulation'. This will blend in some of the LFO from the 'normal' tab. I recommend watching the modulator tutorial videos, they're pretty thorough and cover all this.

Thanks, I've had the modulator tutorial vids on my todo list for a while, will check them out shortly. But yeah multiple modulators per params (without restrictions) would be very interesting.
