Hi Sylenth1 enthusiasts,

In the mac AU version 3.009 the modulation-wheel isn't working.
In other plugins the modulation-wheel is working well.
Am I doing something wrong ?

kind regards,

In what way is it not working as you'd expect exactly?
Does it work when rotating the wheel with your mouse?
Does it work when automating the wheel via your host (what host are you using)?
Does it work when controlling the mod wheel via Midi? What do you see when you right-click the mousewheel?

-In the GUI the modWheel doesn't move, when I send midi cc1 from my midi keyboard or automation from Ableton Live 9.5 64bit.

-When I use the modWheel as a modulation source in Misc1 of Misc2 nothing happens when I send cc1 messages to Sylenth1.
-When I move the modWheel in the GUI, Misc1 and Misc2 modulations work fine.

-When I use midi learn, cc1 messages do have effect.
-As a workaround I use midi-learn to couple my physical modWheel to the modWheel in Sylenth1.

-PitchBend and aftertouch work fine.

So what CC does your physical modwheel use? Seems it isn't CC1 for some reason? Just right-click the modwheel to find out which CC number it learned.

When I right-click the modWheel, it says:

Midi Learn (CC 1)
Midi Forget

When I choose 'Midi Forget' the modWheel doesn't respond anymore to CC1 messages.

So everything is working correctly? The mod wheel should be on CC1.

illdoc, can you check on your midi keyboard, maybe it has a display, which midi CC the modwheel is mapped to? Tbh, i don't even know if it is mappable to another midi CC, but maybe it strangely is in your case.

Yes, when I use midi-learn to map CC1 messages from my physical-modWheel to the GUI-modWheel it works as expected. Somehow I thought it should work without midi-learn. Sorry for the confusion. And thank you for your help :)

Well, by default it is mapped to CC1, so it should work from the start. However, once you change or unlearn the mapping, Sylenth1 will store the mapping in the MidiLearn.dat file and remember it until you learn it once again.

To reset all midi mappings to the default (found in the user manual), just delete MidiLearn.dat from the Config folder (click MENU -> Open Data Folder to get there).

I think I might have accidentally unlearned the mapping. But now I get it :)
