Deleting these last two folders did the trick!

Now I need to reinstall my expansions :(

But it's ok, not a big deal :D

Thank you!

Post

copy all expansion banks to documents/synthmaster/presets folder that should do it.

Ok, I found the error: when I copy the whole galbanum waveform pack to /Users/[myuser]/Documents/SynthMaster/Waveforms Synthmaster dies.

Post

Really?

I should debug that.

I think this is what was causing the slow start... without them, SM starts in 2 to 3 seconds :)

The new filters really do sound great - nice work, Bulent. :D

Thanks, I am glad you like them!

I will have another update tomorrow with the remaining v2.8 features completed before NAMM!

1. Multi-channel MIDI: This feature brings support for keyboards that use channel rotation (Keith McMillen QueNexus, ROLI Seaboard, etc). Each channel/key has its own pitch bend, channel aftertouch and modulation wheel.

2. Poly aftertouch: Yes, finally we're adding poly aftertouch as a MIDI modulation source! I'll be testing this with the CME Xkey keyboard today/tomorrow. I will also simplify the MIDI modulation sources, as there are about 40 of them that are not useful in any way.

3. Smoothing of automated parameters: Yes! finally we're adding that one, after so many years :)
I remember some folks here have been complaining a LOT about the lack of this feature!

:hyper: Does that mean my Keith McMillen K-Board will work with that as well? In Studio One? (Studio One forces a midi channel to the track so I am just wondering about the routing, if it is weird in that host.)

If this does allow me to record aftertouch to individual notes in Studio One somehow, the Synthmaster just jumped a big step in usefulness to me.

Does Studio One allow Omni mode? (i.e. multiple midi channels). If it's filtering the input there's nothing we can do on the SM side :)

For poly aftertouch multichannel MIDI/channel rotation is NOT necessary at all.

Loving the filters. Just one thing, I think that Acid filter deserves a 18db. Maybe? Well, not sure. Lovely update Bulent, waiting for the final version!

Acid filters in real life are not 18 dB :)

The classic 303 filter is said to be :) But I'm only a (happy) man testing your synth. :) Loving the SVF filter. Thank you!

Glad to hear that! This time I tried to make the "Drive" parameter something that makes sense. In the VAnalog (older) filters it didnt make much sense, but this time I guess I figured it out!

FYI I havent implemented before/after/inside distortion code yet for the new filters. They'll arrive after NAMM.
