I am referring to this page.
https://www.meldaproduction.com/plugins ... ectsBundle
Please note it says free with limited functionality.
Well, this isn't really the case. The other day (downloaded this a while ago) I went to use one of the FX and it said at the bottom "Demo Expired" and the FX now glitch out every so often. So the FX are only free for a limited time. This should be stated on the sales page so that people will know.
Now, here is my question.
In the KVR marketplace, I saw the page where it shows this FX bundle selling for over $1,000. Yet on this page it says the upgrade is about $50. Which is it, just so I know? And if I upgrade, do all the FX I downloaded become active or do I have to download another package?
Also, before I even do this, I am an owner of MPowersynth, which I assume has all these FX built in. Is there a way to use MPowersynth as an FX insert in Cubase? Other VSTs do allow this but I'm not seeing MPowersynth as an option when I go to insert FX. Maybe I'm just missing it.
Thanks for your help in this matter.

I think you are getting some things confused.
The free bundle doesn't generate demo expired messages at all regardless as to if you paid for a licence or not.
The MeldaFreeEffects bundle is free for everyone but has some hidden functions which can be enabled by paying for the licence. By paying for the licence you get these features:
You can change size and style of the plugins.
You can access sonogram feature in analyzers and equalizers.
You can manipulate your own presets.
Most plugins can perform upsampling which minimizes aliasing, therefore it is useful to improve sound quality.
The plugins will not contain the nasty big box in the bottom with our clickable logo.
The MFreeEffectBundle is not the same as MTotal or MCreative. These are more advanced products. When you install Melda plugins you have the option of installing all the plugins or specific processors. You likely installed all of the plugins and are confusing the more advanced commercial processors for the MeldaFreeEffectBundle. The commercial plugins will operate in demo mode unless authorized.
To make sure that you only install the Free Bundle I suggest you uninstall Melda and then reinstall. Within the installer, select only the MFreeEffectsBundle. You should see 28 Processors selected which will appear in black on the installer - you may wish to deselect Mxxx so that it isn't installed bringing the count to 27. Mxxx is shell that hosts Melda plugins, it doesn't work with the MeldaFreeEffectsBundle.
Again, if you authorize the MeldaFreeEffectsBundle the 27 plugins that are part of the bundle will gain the features noted in italics and red font above. ( You would also select Mpowersynth given that you have a licence for it)
MpowerSynth has an extensive fx section but these are internal to the synth only. By owning MpowerSynth you don't get standalone versions of these efx. Regarding Mpower as an FX, I am guessing here but I don't think Vojtech would enable this as it would discourage the purchase of other processors. The man has to eat. You could ask him. He is very responsive even if he says no from time to time. Regardless, you likely have a lot of the efx functionality given that you have the Meldafreebundle installed.
I hope that this is helpful. - Scotty

Thanks Scotty for the explanation, 100% true
.
From time to time really someone buys the free bundle upgrade and thinks it will unlock everything
. So if it expires, then it is not in the free bundle. As for MPowerSynth, it indeed cannot be used as FX, for the obvious reason that it would make most other plugins obsolete for a very cheap price. And it's a synth, so it doesn't make sense anyway
