I want to use a vocoder in tracktion, I want to record my voice for the analyse signal and some synth for the carrier signal. How can I route audio from a track to one of the inputs of the plugin ?

Looking at the T-Mixer setup solved the mystery for me ;) In case somebody has no clue how to do it:

1) make a rack with a vocoder that supports erxternal carrier signal. let's say you have input 1 (analyse signal) and input 2 (carrier signal).

2) drag the rack to 2 tracks, one for the analyse signal, in my case the acapella vocal, and one for the carrier signal, a synth or something.

3) now select the vocoder rack on the analyse track and change the left and right input to go to input 1 of the vocoder rack.

4) select the vocoder rack on the carrier track and change the left and right input to go to input 2 of the vocoder track.

that's it! once you know how it works it's pretty simple, but I couldn't figure it out on my own ;)

Good stuff Wazun. This is exactly why I like the Akai Vocoder tho :D. I just plop it on the track and go. It has a built in synth.
