Yeah, hehe... it's good stuff. Won't be long before they're going to find ways into our plug-ins, maybe also into Hive, not sure yet.

We had a pretty draining time when we did the maintenance update. I think we've deserved some time out to toy around a bit - it's where the good stuff happens :clown:
As someone who've had to deal with maintaining/fixing software, as opposed to working on new exciting stuff, I can totally relate. Maintenance is so bloody draining - you need to do something else as well or you'll burn out.

Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more exciting things from you guys. =)
I make music like I play Tekken; randomly push buttons and hope for something good to happen.

Add microtuning to Hive and I'll buy it.
Till then, THANK YOU!!!!!!!….

I've made a whole list of request on my part XD

I think, if I could only ask for one single feature, it would be limited waveshaping ala Reveal Sound Spire with it's 'Ctrl" and "WtMix" oscillator knobs.

I'd love to see FM/AMSync in Hive. I'd love to see more effect modules, especially (Vowel) Phasers and Distortions (Diva'a Rotary Distortion would be an awesome addition). I'd love to see a whole bunch of things that would really expand it's territory...but right now, Hive just isn't enough for Dubstep, Complextro and a slew of genres that were essentially made for wavetable synths. It's a fat, punchy, crystal-clear subtractive synth that can cover almost everything you want...but digital styles like those above? only synths like Massive, Serum or Razor can really do them justice. They were basically made with wavetable or additive synths in mind.

No problem for me since I already use those synths in my collection and they all sound great at what they do...but they don't quite have Hive's sound either :phones:.

Having waveforms which you can then bend and shape would greatly expand the amount of timbres that Hive can produce and definitely help make it more suitable for those aggressive digital styles.

Hi,

will the next update (e.g. with favorites feature) be released soon? Any scheduled ETA? =)

Yes please. I'm using the ROLI Seaboard RISE 25 and *love* the X-Y control with synths that support it. Two great X-Y/cross-mod designs come from Arturia (Galaxy mod that started with Jupiter 8V but later showed up in the Origin hardware synths) and fxpansion (Euclid - a total monster when tracking to MPE parameters). When I described it to someone I called it "orbital modulation" - which I think is fitting.

Add vector/multi-stage envelope shaping or an X-Y record/playback function and I think it will be a winner.

A little hexagon Polyrhythm Generator ala Buchla.

X/Y controls are definitely a solid idea! :)

How about, adding oscillator effects (fx) to Hive in this section, similar to Zebra.
Maybe something like oscillator shaping tools there.

seems to disconnected from the Osc's for such an Osc integral feature

Yep.
Maybe they should best be attached to the oscillator section then.

+1 for some XY madness!

Hehe, I'm currently trying to get the hang of West Coast stuff, but I'm not sure if Hive's hexagon would be the right to put it :clown:

IMO mapping generator would be a great addition to hive.
