Hi, its been a bit quiet in here for a while so here are some muxes to be going on with while we wait for M7
I should warn you that the file size is over 8 Mb as one of the patches uses the Choir Vowel Ensemble Pack, maybe I should have split them, dunno anyway get them here....

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzHug ... jVzcGZNZzQ

Hopefully they will work ok
3 of them I have used in a little Christmas tune that I will upload at some point soon ( yes I know its a bit late, or is it early :D )
EDIT
There is now a zip file called All Muxes which contains, would you believe, all the single muxes in one file.
I have not included the Choir Vowel Ensemble Pack as some people will undoubtedly already have it installed and those that don't can get it separately ( assuming they want to of course )

Thanks for sharing these MUX presets bibz1st!
Can i merge (some of) them into the factory lib?

NB: I got some alerts about missing samples, eg for "RandChoir" and "Rubble".

Post

Of course feel free
I'll take a look at those alerts

Have sorted those errors,
Rubble was an unused MFO looking for its sample but as I wasnt using the MFO I forgot it would ask for it.

The RandChoir error was similar but different :ud: to do with not resaving the inner (Choir Vowel Ensemble)
Please try downloading them again

I do like this random-choir - thank you very much for this great idea and the cool work, bibz1st!
Only two matters:
1) At deep notes (lower than G3) I experience missing sounds in some vowels.
2) It's a cool feature to be allowed to select the playing vowels. Only if I deselect one I get silence instead. In this case the random-counter should also decrease - but I know, that's not easy!
So, in case you don't know what to do next ...

Post

Thanks
Yea they do drop out here and there ( they are random after all :ud: ) but it does need some improvements.
Could map the individual samples across more keys up and down but as you do the sound quality drops. without more samples its probaly best played within a certain range.

Just realised what you mean by this and to be honest Im not sure its possible, the randomisation isnt automatable or selectable from the front panel.
Will have to think of another way
@cloudspell: thank you

Yes, bibz1st, guess you're right: It seems impossible right now.
What can be done is removing the on/off buttons of the vocals (or let them untouched  )
Anyway: Thanks again, I love it! :tu:

Well, guess again cos I think Ive solved it :o
try replacing the "RandChoir.Mux" with the attached
(not the whole thing just the little Mux within the RandomChoir folder)
If that doesnt work straight away I'll post a screenshot of how the modular view should look.

PS
One thing to watch though is make sure to click directly on the yellow/green on/off button, also try not to turn them off whilst holding a key down as it can cause stuck notes.

fingers crossed

Wow!
How did you do that? I don't see a big difference in the MUX ...
Only deactivating "U" still seems to drop notes, all other combinations I tried seem to work.
Crazy! Respect!

Post

Agh that "U"....if you notice I have added an event output to each vowel mux and connected that to the following vowel...except when I got to U I had nothing to connect it to which is why that one drops out....hmm more headscratching
Note its the vowel outer muxes that you are turning off now and not the actual inner choir multisamplas and its that that allows the signal to flow to the next mux in line, until that last one obviously. Cant connect the last one to the first as its not allowed cos it causes a loop I guess.
Did that make sense ?

Could just add another instance of one of the other vowels that cant be turned off...
to be continued.........

It seems to work, see attachment
I copied an extra "I" but didnt put it on the front panel so cant be turned off from there, you can swap it for a different one if that doesn't suffice
