Left Reason after many years, jumped to Logic Pro X, loving it, not looking back again. Will probably try out several DAW's during 2016, still very happy with the toolset in Logic after spending some time getting the hang of it.

They all do the same thing . I like Tracktion but I like some things about StudioOne a little better ex. midi editor , then there are things about Reaper I like better than S1 then there are things in S1 I like better than Reaper . It's and endless cycle of man I like the way this works in this host vs that host .

Here's mine:

I own 6 DAWs. Bitwig, Live 9.5, Reason 7, Logic X, Cubase Artist 8.0 and Presonus Studio One v3.

I use 4 them in this order: Live 9.5, Bitwig, Studio One, Logic

My success story this year is that I realized that they are all great in their own right. Not even worth the effort to compare. If I had it all to do over, I probably would get Live, learn it til I couldn't learn in any more, then get Bitwig. By that time it will be more solid.

I have been flipping between C8.5 Pro and S13 recently. I love them both.

I find Studio One an absolute joy to use. it looks beautiful, it's very stable, efficient and I can work quickly in it as all the important controls are exposed and easy to get to, however I keep coming back to C8.5 Pro. There are so many amazing features in Cubase, it has to be the most fully featured DAW in existence - chord tracks, VST connect, chord assistant, audio quantising, tempo detection, Panorama integration etc. I also find it stable and predictable to use.

I haven't actually switched DAWs, since Sonar is still my go-to (also use PT11 and LogicX somewhat regularly, Studio One almost never anymore). But, I added Bitwig Studio last year and find it to be a pretty useful and intuitive DAW - I especially like using it as a scratchpad on my laptop.
