Is that audio engine crashes or full application crash (i.e Bitwig Studio quits)? Do you have a reliable way to reproduce?hoshino wrote:I am now experiencing crashes when removing devices.

I want to disappoint you. I bought the DAW a half year ago and still cannot use it because of significant amount of bugs (and continuous appearing new bugs). But anyway i like Bitwig and i really hope that one day it will get stable:)Serobliss wrote:I have to report that after installing the 1.3.6 version i'm still getting this nasty bug with audio events deleted when i add a new one to a clip : see video right there :
So unfortunately, it's really hard to use bitwig for the moment, at least for me, so bad because i bought the license only 5 days ago and i'm unable to use the software (that has some other really cool features that i like by the way ) and it's really REALLY frustrating...

After getting a chance to work with it a bit today, all is not well in Bitwig land for Tomsa. I am getting random crashes of the audio engine after recording individual mono tracks. This is in really basic projects, i.e. one track of me recording/playing back my trumpet practice session today. Bummer. I have sent a bug report.

...If you have to fix it with a computer: quantized, pitch corrected, and overly inspected, then you can't do it, and I can't get behind that!

Did it!nickallen wrote:I'm unable to reproduce this. Would you be able to collect and save your project with just this one track and send it to support so we can reproduce and fix?Geek Model wrote:Ok. What about this one???
Every time when i created simple 4/4 clip for kick in launcher Sampler play it in constant sound without picks or anything. When i move it to arrange and duplicate clip my kick track sounds like this (with jumping gain):

Just sampler with no automation and no velocity sense.
UPDATE!!!
When i loop created clip like this
instead this
Everything is perfect!
Thanks!

Sad news... This erasing audio event bug is really a mess. I hope they will fix it asap...SpellBound wrote:I want to disappoint you. Ok I found a way to reproduce this! It seems to be a regression that crept in in 1.3.1. We are looking at it now. No need to send project to support (unless you really want to).Geek Model wrote:Ok. What about this one???

I can't reproduce this. Which OSX version and which computer hardware are you using, and could you explain what means loss of control?golddustwoman wrote:Full screen in OSX causes loss of control over random knobs and sliders when using mouse.

The fix was related to certain audio hardware which seemed to cause trouble.WXLF wrote:I'm not sure what type of document this "FIXED" was addressing but it seems there is still some funny business going on.volker@bitwig wrote: FIXED - Sometimes engine crashes on OSX when connecting to document.
maschine doesn't seem to like bitwig sometimes.
You mean machine doesn't like bitwig when using it as a plugin, or as a MIDI controller?
How did you configure your plugin hosting preferences - bit bridge oder 32/64?
Which audio hardware did you configure as inputs/outputs in your audio preferences?
Does it happen randomly or always in certain projects?
When the engine is ready it does not mean the plugins are all loaded yet. You should visual feedback in the plugin device panel that reflects the loading state.WXLF wrote: On a side note: When the audio engine button turns orange and indicates it is ready.. Does it ever do so prematurely? sometimes the plugins (like maschine) are not really ready to play. is this normal?

It seems i'm unable to parse this sentence, could you explain steps to reproduce? Thanks!xbitz wrote:and random operations in piano roll win10x64 if they affect multi notes (not always, not critical just annoying)

using the new note-resize function of the Pen tool on multiple notes sometimes it begin to draws notes or resizes another group of notes in the middle of the operation (maybe it's my mouse, trying to reproduce it at home)

chembros wrote:Does anyone know if the team has plans to improve the swing function? I'd really appreciate a more customizable swing/groove section. Ideally, a groove import from audio & midi would be nice, and a few selectable groove presets like you can in other DAWs. Lastly, independent swing amounts for each track.
Cheers.
TRUE CHEMBROS!
I find the swing in Bitwig Quite ungroovy.
