Hello. I have recently downloaded mulab demo version. The problem is, the mulab cpu gets overloded when playing any single instrument. This has for now put me off purchasing the mulab daw. Some advice and help would be appreciated regarding the problem. Thanks

What are your computer's specs? What samplerate and buffersize are you using? Did you enable multi-core processing? Are you playing VSTs or the internal MUX sounds? Which sounds? Do they have a long release time?

Also please do print screen your audio setup there is something with your audio setup I guess, also I love MuLab about it's CPU proficient I use the auto bypass on every synth I use for example I love to use NI Massive I will autobypass it you can do it so by clicking the gear icon click "Setup Auto Bypass" then click the amount on default it says "OFF" put it to 500.

At the mo i can play roughly half the demo songs without the cpu meter over loading. I'm using asio4ll and the buffer size is 512. I'm a new when it comes to DAW tech. I'm using an old laptop 1.7ghz , just under 4GB ram 32 bit operating system. sample rate is 44100. How do i enable or disable multi core processing? I am not using any VST.

Some of the demo songs are pretty demanding, to be honest. How many physical (not logical / hyperthreading) cores have you got? If you've only two, then you'll get little if any benefit from multicore. You could try increasing the buffer size to 2048.

Your computer is more powerful on what I use right now I'm using win8 64bit, Processor: Intel Celeron @1.5Ghz, 2GB RAM
:D maybe try the buffer size on 2048 samples.

I also try to resample and then mute all the instruments and fx that I used so in that case I will never have a problem again on my CPU usage
