Morbidly curious behind this thread, I checked it out. The official video. At first, piano and voice, sounded fine. When the arrangement goes big, it does seem overdone (volume about half-way up and it's as loud as the majority of things on youtube fully cranked, and I kind of live on youtube), but beyond that pretty much claustro and a quality of distortion that seems like incompetence. The dull thud of the drums, that's an artistic decision? It comes across to me like somebody fell down on the job completely, or sabotage and nobody caught it. Over a billion views for this rather dull song and this gross production? I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
