more time things... like a timing reset on the arpeggiator or time div/mult on the "send clock time" thing...
In fact, I'd like to see that as a device with time div/mult modulation knobs, so I could throw it on whichever track I'd like and I wouldn't have to go into settings to set another up.

I would rather have core DAW functionality, not DEV's spending time on extra stuff that one can already get.

What core functions do you need? I have make few complete tracks with bitwig and had no problems at all. I dont miss any function. All what I need is inside, excluding better internal synths, filters and fx.

Well i dont think it would be much implement. I would love having plugins like that in the daw. Because having plugins in the gui of the daw is much nicer, no extra window popup for everything (Y). Lets agree to disagreeanp27 wrote:Me too... I don't need any of those things mentioned.pdxindy wrote:I already have all those things as plugins...

There are a lot of missing functions... However i also want better filters, better distortion, better compressor like glue compressor cytomic. Having the plugin or having it default in bitwig is a difference since we will then get the gui to be with bitwig. Thats a nice feature to have. Not having to have extra pop ups. Also haivng more professional sounding plugins bundled with bitwig is nice not havnig to spend extra money on plugins. Ofc that will just make bitwig more expensive. But its a nice thing to have in daw dedicated good plugins.TrueAndFalse wrote:What core functions do you need? I have make few complete tracks with bitwig and had no problems at all. There are companies that only do reverb plugins, so I would argue that doing a great reverb takes a lot to implement! there are companies that only do eqs and compressors...though I totally appreciate the idea of having it built in to the gui, I think this is where DAW companies start to go wrong (trying to cover all bases)–I loved bitwig at first because it never, ever crashed. the last live show I played, it crashed right in the middle (4th song) for seemingly no reason, and I tried to restart it 3 times to no avail LOL. Totally on me, lesson learned (updating versions when I wasn't having problems). I hadn't had a crash during a show up until then, of course, and not in rehearsal for several versions.takaii wrote:Well i dont think it would be much implement. Personally, I'd like to see more functionality, better latency compensation and handling of hardware fx, and more key commands for already implemented features, but these after it gets back to the original reason I loved it–no crashes! A couple really good distortion/sat plugins like Live would be cool though–I don't use BWS distortion much other than with an lfo plug or something. The delay sounds great though!
Agree to disagree here too:D
