Please don't take this as been argumentative but what does it mean to have an audio engine revamped?

Is there something inefficient in the way it sorts the ones and zeros?

Any idea what the upgrade price might be?

It's been $29.95 for the last three years, so probably won't be far off that.There might be some bundled offers, though maybe not immediately. Guessing!
