45 mins to figure out the exact tempo (116.35) of a track is not making music.

There are things i frankly can't stand to wait for longer.

I saw you solved most of Mac OS issues, now i really hope to see improvements on the most asked features.

I'm begining to regret Ableton Live.

Takai: as i said, i'm used to the RAW mode, so it is set as you said.
I change the tempo and all the Raw audio stretch and move.
This is f.... not useable

Edit : from now, i don't want other users help, i want DEVS answers and help. That's why i bought the software.
Thank you btw!

Sry it will be streched if set up like i showed, havent tried for a while. Keep use raw if clip shorter than off. Then "use raw if clip is longer than " keep that on 0 sec.

Then it will not strech. If you dont want it to change length when changing bpm, have it streched thats the only way.

Again thank you Takaii, but as 99% of my simple questions have been NOT answered by Bitwig Team, i'm pissed off.

As you know Stretching in Bitwig is a no-no. If i ask the question "wheeeen will the stretching mode be improved at a point it is useable", i won't have an answer, and wait like for all my other concerns.
I bought Bitwig thinking all those would be solved in a relative time, but it's not the case.

Today this, and the undo/redo bug, really?!?
Are you kidding us?!?

Where is the official Bitwig forum?
All other softwares i use have their own, and Devs answers there, no need to mail.
Bitwig rely too much on their users on that topic, i don't agree.

In short i'm pissed off.

double post

double post again.

Just illustrates a leitmotiv with Bitwig:

You feel good making music, you end up stressing up with dumb bugs and all.

It is a sunday afternoon, the devs are hopefully playing with their kids or are on the way back from NAMM.

This forum is not even linked on the Bitwig site (any more). To expect - even demand - reply from Bitwig devs here is, I'm sorry, but quite irrational.

This used to be their official forum back when Bitwig was really really new and had a very simple/limited homepage.

Post

It is still "official" in the way that it is set up by Bitwig and Dom and the Devs look in every now and then.
But "official" does not mean that they do give support here, that is what the official support page is for:
http://www.bitwig.com/en/support/tech-support.html
Doing support via forums is quite messy, hard to track and often escalates in time consuming ways.
I guess it's no longer linked since people tend to expect official support from such a forum then.
It is simply a decision for efficiency.

But that does not mean that a forum is useless, since often questions can be answered here between peers (even on weekends) or one can check if a problem is common or only happening on one's own machine, exchange tips and tricks etc.

Cheers,

Tom
