Question on MDrumEnhancer equalizer panel

Sorry if I'm missing something, I've already looked at the docs but could not find anything: what are the "HP12", "LP12" sliders in MDrumEnhancer EQ Panel?

I seem to understand they are some kind of low pass and high pass pole specification, but where are these settings used?

EDIT: never mind, found the red vertical lines and saw they can be dragged to set the low pass and high pass cutoffs. Anyway, they are not explained anywhere it seem :O
