Yeah, this bug happened again here, too. I don't know how to reproduce it tho, because it's so random.

With bugs like these where Bitwig corrupts working files without the user manually saving, we need a feature where each save creates a backup copy of the previous version, like FL Studio has.
+1 actually we need Bitwig to give user a preset counter that allows user to determine the amount of backup saves, like in Microsoft office.

This used to be their official forum back when Bitwig was really really new and had a very simple/limited homepage.
This forum is for users to talk to users, It is their official forum. But official does not mean the place to reach out to devs. Dom from bitwig has explicit written what the form is about
The purpose of this forum is to offer our users a place to discuss everything related to Bitwig Studio, such as general usage, tips and tricks, bugs, features and feature wishes with other users.

As this place is intended for discussions and user interaction, it is not the right place to submit actual bug reports, questions or feature wishes to Bitwig's support and development team.

Therefore feel free to discuss bugs and feature wishes here among the user base first in order to gather information or confirm issues with others, but please be sure to contact us directly if you're sure about sending in a bug report or feature wish.
You can find this post above all other posts. But here is a direct link http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=420129
Easy to ignore that post, really easy to find and read.

honestly can not believe we've got this far without a proper save backups feature... totally fundamental requirement imo

Why? the attack envelope phase would actually take 1 millisecond to attack.. so 0 would be incorrect.

has anyone see Maitake ?

Thanks! Re-Google it. I'm stupid here..

I believe the attack is instant. I think I remember that they changed the attack to zero awhile after the launch but never changed the tool tip. I just checked it with a bounce and didn't see a ramp up. Since it's dsp an envelope doesn't have to take any time to ramp up. They can just start it at the top.

That's what strange for me here - Bitwig's sampler do not imulate any analog stuff.

This is what i got. First image is the original audio file. Second image is the bounce of the same audio file from sampler 1ms attack. There appears to be a small ramp when zoomed in 100%

Either way i think the 1 ms gives it an old school feel 8)

I am amazed the phase was so even on yours. I had one sample loaded directly into arranger, then on the other track loaded in sampler, full length clip with sustain all way up and 0 attack. The entire phase is shifted on my clip compaired to the one in arranger. I rather have a daw that crashes than a daw that cant produce consistent reliable sounds.... -.- Its not pitched yet phase is totally different Userfault, the sample in arranger was set to strech -.- Lol :tu: But i agree the attack problem is still there and it shouldnt.
