One weekend later... is this conspiracy theory still going on? ;-)
Actually there have been more manhours spent in this thread by now than was needed to throw in the touch gestures...

Regarding NAMM: We just wanted to show what has happened since last NAMM, for the folks that didn't follow the development that closely as here in the community. There was no need or reason to announce any new things as we're are currently concentrating on bugfixing, finetuning and 2.0 planning.

Cheers and rock on!

I really, really like to use the touch screen in my hybrid!!! I use it for almost everything from painting notes, to adjust faders (unless I need a fine touch of precision)

And I do recommend anyone to try one.

Now if I could get my hands on a big desktop touch screen it would be so good :hyper:

I almost like it as I like a good midi controller :D

Touch is awesome already for step sequencers, can´t wait to touch the pianoroll!

I am also very happy about the touch features. I only hope that it is possible to have touch on one monitor and 'desktop mode' on another soon enough.

made a feature request today. Maybe also write them, so they see it's important.;)

Oh, I most certainly have. :)

A little pricey tho
have you tried those drivers? Will they allow you to use Bitwig with an external touch screen on OS X just as if you were using Windows? If so, that's great news...

no didn't try em, it's kinda expensive actualy. And i would also need to buy a touch display. But according to the description, it should work.

Seems like there is some trouble involved with some setups: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/68 ... 0&tstart=0

ok, well if you or anyone else tries it please report back if it works or not. :) if no one has tried it by spring/summer, I will likely be able to do so myself by then. ;)
