No.. You don't say!

Extremely annoying bug that needs to be fixed asap! It's getting ridiculous ...

- giving away NFR licences in online competitions

@Geek Model

Grow up and learn how to behave. You're not the only human being on earth. Be polite and people will like you more... or stay as you are and annoy everyone until you die lonely.

Sure there are some features that are still missing, but so is every DAW. I'm still missing features in FL12. You don't have to rent about it, especially if you havn't paid a dime for it.

Post

nvm.......

Post

I love you guys

P.S.: Now i'm using my real first/last name here! Cheers, Geek Model.

I'm also a bit lost here Geek Model/Andrey Marchenko

So you won your license. Congratulations.

And now you somehow feel entitled to demand every feature under the sun, jump into every thread and throw around insults and how blind and stupid everybody is who enjoys using BWS? (and actually paid for it)...

What's your point?

If you don't like BWS, use something else.
If there is a real bug, report it to support.
If something is missing, report it to support to be put on the (loooooooooong) list of FRs.

But if some tiny pixel isn't perfectly aligned, just give everybody a break.
Sure you can report it but keep some perspective that is related to the actual size of the problem.

But most of all:
Why don't you put all this energy you seem to have into something productive?

You see, support at one point will of course no longer answer if you flood them with stuff that yes, would be nice to have and yes, may come one day, and yes has been asked for about 100 times before - but simply isn't there yet and may not be first in line and needs TIME to be coded...
You don't just snip your finger and features rain down from heaven...
Support has to protect itself, otherwise people like you would suck up all their time and resources.

You won a license, not the company.

As you behave now, you sooner or later will be banned. Which would be sad, since somehow you seem to have strong feelings and lots of energy which could just as well be helpful to somebody or something.
As it is now, it's purely destructive and annoying.
And also makes you look rather weird.

So maybe take a moment and take a good look at what it REALLY is that bothers you so much and then decide how to proceed in a way that will actually get you where you want to be.
I hope you find what you are looking for!

Cheers,

Tom

Come on lads, he hasn't been THAT bad, he is actually very helpful too. I think you guys are blowing it a little out of proportion, I for one think constructive criticism and suggestions are the most important for the improvement of a product, rather than complimenting endlessly, and he obviously has a deep passion for the DAW, and wants to see it improve. I think it is all good input.

Post

Not really.

Yes, constructive criticism is good.

But if a new user comes to a forum to ask why Bitwig is slow for him, IT IS NOT HELPFUL to unload your personal frustration on him.
Just explain about the current full-screen bug on OSX so that the new user can continue to check the demo and get his own impression on his own hardware.

And since this is a user forum: What is the point of unloading all that frustration on other users over and over again?
I personally am just turned off from coming here at all or helping out by this kind of behaviour and I'm sure many other are the same (see the yoshi case, at one point you just didn't want to look into the forum anymore since it was flooded by his crap).
I heard every of those complaints about 5000 times before.
It does absolutely nothing but annoy after a certain point.
And being rude does not help either.

If you care - show it.
If you care for your girlfriend, you don't yell at her all the time.
That is not how it works.

Cheers,

Tom

I didn't see him unload personally on anyone, but I just scanned with my phone. I'll have to re-read later I guess.

Can someone on OS X (I'm using 10.9.5) try setting their sample rate to 96khz. When I do, the timeline runs at double speed. Anyone else seeing that?

Also, if I then record a midi clip, the synth LFO also runs at doublespeed. Same as any other tempo sync'ed parameter.

If I bounce that midi clip, it remains as it was recorded. Then exporting it though, it exports at 48khz and plays at halfspeed.

EDIT: I restarted my computer and the problem is gone. So one of those random glitches... nevermind!

I also found another bounce bug.

If I have a long midi clip and I bounce it to audio on the new track, it starts rendering as expected. However, if the loop brace in arrange is set from say 40 bars to 80 and the looping is active, when the midi clip bounce render reaches 40 bars it stops rendering even though it finishes to the end of the midi clip. The bounced result has no audio from 40 bars on.

Hi since the latest update i have some problems with me VST'S in bitwig (Analog Lab)

When i want to open Analog lab in bitwig no problem, but when i want to select a instrument in analog lab, the plugin Crashes??

i reinstalled analog lab, vst.... nothing helps.

anyone with the same problem?

windows 10

Post

Analog Lab works on Windows 8.1 x64 for me, both 32 and 64 Bit.
Is it a specific instrument you are loading or about any you try?
Are you running the latest version (Check Arturia Software Center)?
Do you have another host to check if something with the installation may have gotten borked?

Cheers,

Tom
