Hello everybody, I am new to the forum (although I have been using T for a while) and I'd like to know if there is an official thread for requests, apart for the one specific to the midi editor.
I have my list of requests but before I start I wanted to see if these things had been posted before.
There is one that is so important to me that I will risk it now: am I stupid or really when I CTRL+DRAG some midi notes there is no way to make them snap to the grid? Everytime I copy some notes I have to quantize to get them right: is there a combination of keys or a command that I have not seen yet?

The easiest solution for this would be to implement rex support as it is now an open standard.
This would most likely be the simplest solution for Jules
I will say it again REX support. Easy and effective!
Did I mention Rex support
Cheers

I think that musicality should fall under anoher catagory in this forum. Maybe songwriting technique's or something like that.
We are merely giving suggestions for T2, and considering Jules has already put some looping functions in T1 I would imagine it would make sense for him to continue to build on that instead of taking it away.
Cheers
P.S.
By this reply I would imagine you think I am a loop maniac but I rarly use them but every once in a while when I want a real sounding acoutic drum track I will rex up some acoustic loops and it is better that anything I could play myself or program myself

I started a thread over on TracktionFaction for features we would like to see in T2.
I figured I'd do it there as we can edit and keep it tidy in a way that we can't do here, and Jules can concentrate on support issues in this forum (which is more what it is for).

Exactly, I never use any other loops except drum loops because I simply cant get the music out of those MIDI drums. Using drum loops really helps my creativity. Making statements that "loops are disaster for music" sounds like those who claim that computers are disaster for music, and before them there were also ones who claimed that electric guitars are also "fake guitars".@slade wrote:By this reply I would imagine you think I am a loop maniac but I rarly use them but every once in a while when I want a real sounding acoutic drum track I will rex up some acoustic loops and it is better that anything I could play myself or program myself
One vote for loops in T2.

i am a loop maniac and f**k that prick who says loops aint musical
your dissing my entire genre you piece of shit and i simply aint standing for that
Hip Hop was forged on loops being played back to back by DJ's like myself next you'll be saying Dj's shouldnt make music you blinkered prick
what kind of twat would say no loops
its like me saying no guitar features because i personally dont use a guitar so its not musical
YOU ARE NOT THE f**king BE ALL AND END ALL OF WHAT TRACKTION IS OR HOW OR WHO SHOULD BE USING IT
oh and your a f**king dumb bastard because T already has some great loop features
perhaps you should go and find a host that doesnt have any loop support
obviously that would be more musical
and anytime you fancy going head to head and matching tracks up to see whos is liked the most by listeners lets f**king go
or maybe that wouldnt be musicality
Tosser
hey valley
great idea my man i wonder if the J man will go over and take a peek
