I've finally been getting into the modularity of Mulab and want to build a few synths. However, I do no see where I can do audio-rate modulation. Am I blind or is it missing?
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better? :(

Never mind. I found some info by searching on audio rate modulation. I guess two-letter searches are quietly not allowed. :x

That just made my day!

Any rough ideas on when we might get to have a play? :)

No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

To avoid confusion: Audio rate modulation yes, modular feedback paths not yet. Anyway, the audio rate modulation indeed makes it possible to do FM, PM, ... You can also use an oscillator to modulate the Wave Index of the MFO wavetable oscillator, etc... It gives an extended sonic palette!

Difficult to say, also because it depends on what you expect: A first rough test version or an already polished pre-release version? The former will be available sooner. Are you interested in bug-hunting and helping polishing the rough edges?

Thx all for your interest in testing the very first versions of M7!
I expect/hope the first (rough) test version to be ready in about 2-3 weeks.

Wow!!!

Haven't posted in awhile...I thought Jo might be busy or something... :hihi:

Great to hear some info on MuLab 7...but can you talk about the early release versions, those for testing? Will they be available for anyone who wants to try them out? How will that work?
