Hi all,

I'm sorry if this has been asked already.

Zebra is by far my favorite synth. ...but lately I kind of "have to" run out of it for cases when I'd like to modulate something by an oscilator or noise generator output. Is there any way to do this more properly than keytracking an LFO rate?

If not, this might be a great feature request for Z3. :)

Get Bazille... or ACE

I do have Bazille. That's where I run to for this, but Zebra is still my spirit animal. I want the best for her! :D

I understand... :)

Zebra has 2 distinct signal paths... audio and modulation (control rate)... the modulation in Zebra is slow (relative to audio) and so it cannot do audio rate modulation (except in specific hardwired instances like XMF Filter FM)

To add the general option of audio rate modulation would increase CPU a lot. As much as I like the idea of adding this, I would rather keep Zebra fairly CPU efficient. Zebra is a stereo signal path and Bazille is mono.

it's been posted before, there is a trick... it's limited but try this:

Use MSEG4 to FM just about anything... filters, osc hardsync tune, PWM, phase (works better than pitch)
