Yes Sir...So many people are listening with their eyes these days...
In saying that however,I do like the Harbor Blue skin for Dune 2.5

Nice! I didn't see that one (downloading).digitalboytn wrote:I do like the Harbor Blue skin for Dune 2.5
Yep...liquidsound wrote:Nice! I didn't see that one (downloading).digitalboytn wrote:I do like the Harbor Blue skin for Dune 2.5
Definitely better for my speakers
Would have been cool if the guy didn't let his ego get the best of him and slap his logo dead center on the GUI. No thank you.Examigan wrote:I like this one http://www.satyatunes.com/web/glacier-white.phpOrbit-50 wrote:Not even man. That's one thing that you can do, although you are limited to sine operators and technically osc1 is ring modulating osc2 FM-A, although I think that is only a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. You can also use wavetables as well to do alternative waveforms as found in the TX81z.EnGee wrote:Oh! Do you mean for example like this:cytospur wrote:Certain 4op configs are already possible in D2, e.g., the last 4 of the TX81Z. Even some 6op configs are possible. Osc 1 FM
Osc 2 FM (whatever algorithm)
Then in modulation matrix I choose Osc 1 as resource and the destination like Osc 2 FM AMT A (for example)?
So, in this case I connect the two oscilators creating 4 to 6 Op FM. That gives many possibilities if I understood it rightNot sure how many possible algorithms I get but I need to read the manual and search for such info.
Supposedly the original skin had a really tiny, tiny logo but some people asked him to get a bigger one...Orbit-50 wrote:Would have been cool if the guy didn't let his ego get the best of him and slap his logo dead center on the GUI. No thank you.
Look the second link in my sig to see how to do 2-op Yamaha style FM (phase modulation). By using multiple voices you can do mos of the parallel algorithms. There's a sine wavetable to download from there to do this. I'll be putting up the TX waveforms there soon, as well as OPL3 waves and more exotic ones of my own designcytospur wrote:Certain 4op configs are already possible in D2, e.g., the last 4 of the TX81Z. Hmmm, that slipped from my mind. So, when we modulate the Amt of the operator, we are Ring Modulating it?cytospur wrote:That's one thing that you can do, although you are limited to sine operators and technically osc1 is ring modulating osc2 FM-A, although I think that is only a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. Thanks a lot for both your explanation and your resources in the websitecytospur wrote:

Edit: using morphing wavetables to phase modulate a carrier oscillator is also possible and much more interesting
Obviously. I just finished pushing old ladies in front of oncoming traffic. Now what's left to do? This.AnX wrote:Someone will always find an excuse to slag something off..
Show me where I said that it affected performance. Did you actually read what I wrote before you decided to troll my opinion? Real super hero you are.AnX wrote:He made the skin, his tiny logo doesnt affect its performance in any way.....

I get it man, my preference would be not to have it dead center on the browser screen. The only name that belongs on a plugin is the developers. I'm a purist like that.xx JPRacer xx wrote:Supposedly the original skin had a really tiny, tiny logo but some people asked him to get a bigger one...Orbit-50 wrote:Would have been cool if the guy didn't let his ego get the best of him and slap his logo dead center on the GUI. From what I can tell Satya seems to be a nice and talented guy.
