midi map doesnt work (and theres no option for swing gen)

I am trying to assign an encoder to the swing generator knob but it's not working....

reason 1 is that i the swing gen is not listed as an assignable option........

(same with assigning it to XY perf knobs) (but I solve that by just going on to the knob and rightclicking for assign to XY)
(it's always been that way I've never seen "swing generator" as an option to assign from the XY menu)

reason 2 is that it just doesnt work....i try to twiddle the knob and nothing happens.....it does work in Ableton live.....i am using a Virus KC maybe that is why?

Sorry about the delay in replying, zethus909 !

So: I checked out Zebra2 on my system - the Swing knob is learnable there.
Are you sure that your Virus KB is sending CC messages and that Zebra is receiving them (Rob suggested that I should ask "is the track record-armed")?
