Where are the presets and designs located?

In case I need to reinstall my system....from zero.
How can I save and reuse all the presets, including downloaded ones and the designs, including the saved color shemes, that I made inside all the Mtotalbundle plugins?
I don't wanna have to adjust every plugin again (did that already a few times), having a specially colored system, sizes, buttons an so on. Do I have to copy the settings outta somewhere and later copy them back?

You dont state if you're on Mac or PC... but for PC everything Melda settings related is stored here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MeldaProduction
I regularly copy and paste the entire folder from my work computer to my home computer and it works perfectly.

Here's a tip:
Click the Start button, type %appdata% and then press enter.
This will bring you directly to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming

Can someone provide some more info on what files should be saved? I open up the Appdata/Roaming folder for powersynth, and I'm not seeing anything that immediately registers as "preset file". Lot of .winstate files, but hell if I know what to do with them. Same for MXXX, there's an active preset folder but no indication of where to find regular presets.

I'd suggest saving all, it's not big really, a few megabytes... Just zip it and you have everything covered

My understanding:
In the folder for each plug-in:
I also have a bunch of .active files in that folder; they look like they contain presets but judging from the data modified they are left over from an old version (v7?) of the plug-ins and may not be used.
I just back it all up, no need to think about what is what.
In the folder for each plug-in:
- StyleSettings.cfg defines the style, 5 colour palette, %size etc
- GlobalConfiguration.xml contains the Default control settings
- the .winstate files define the state of the various windows and each is updated / created every time that particular window is opened / moved / resized etc

I uninstalled melda but I backed-up my roaming settings. Can I check through to see if I had turned on 10 compatibility or not? I can't remember and I need to know which setting I had it on really.

I tried to backup and restore from up right of the preset pop up but doesn't work.
I just created a couple of presets for MAutoDynamicEq, then i made the backup, and deleted few presets, load the backup, and nothing change.
The import/export in the folder section work as intended, so i'm happy with that

There were problems with the backup. But it should be fixed in 16.03 if I remember correctly.
