Just tested, All Uhbik plugins and ACE, when edited (a parameter is clicked) will take over PT control. Pro Tools will not receive any keyboard input. I have also confirmed this behavior with Melda Production plugins, Sugarbytes, and Xfer Records. The behavior still stands when using a shell such as Blue Cat Patchwork to load VSTs. When the plugin in question is edited it relinquishes control over Pro Tools. Patchwork itself, when focused will allow keyboard input through. In Ableton keyboard input goes through no problem on everything so it has to be AAX / Pro Tools. I know the AAX format is newly supported with U-He so I was just wondering if there was anything I could try to get my transport back, I like transport control without clicking in and out of the plugin window all the time.
Also I recently switched from Mac to Windows, and I havent experienced this on Mac which is why I think its weird.
Any insight into this matter is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
My system is as follows:
Windows 7 64 Bit
Intel i7 6700K 4.00GHz
32 GB RAM DDR4
Pro Tools 12.4

I'm not an avid (pun not intended) Pro Tools user myself, so I don't know if they've meanwhile introduced an option to disable this behaviour by default or something. But that is actually how Pro Tools is supposed to behave.
When you just open/display a plugin GUI, the keyboard's input focus will remain where it was.
When you start editing parameters inside the plugin GUI, the keyboard's input focus will jump "into" the GUI.
According to what I know, that's what it's been like for ages because that's what it's meant to do.
The fastest way to deal with this should be the ESC key.
