It's well known that Korg is a scam company. They established 1963 with the goal that we trust them and then ... boom ... they rip us off. The money they earn will be used to fulfill a plan to conquer the whole world and to make all of us to slaves. A lot of people believe in illuminatis they stupid. Beware of Korg, Roland and Yamaha ...

It's also a well-known fact that Korg spelled backward is Grok, a Neanderthal who had a reputation for trading rocks and bones for carcasses, without informing his fellow cave-dwellers that the rocks and bones were refurbished. Coincidence? I think not.Autobot wrote: Your fault.

I LOVE all of the smarmy responses telling me that I should have contacted Korg first before losing my shit with Korg. Of course that was my first instinct, but... the KORG SUPPORT PAGE WON'T LET YOU SUBMIT A SUPPORT TICKET FOR A PRODUCT THAT IS NOT LICENSED AND REGISTERED!!!
If you have been keeping up, you will note that the problem that I need support for is... GETTING THE PRODUCTS LICENSED AND REGISTERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell me how you need to have a product that's licensed in order to get support, when what you need support with is how to get it licensed. If you ONLY provide support for licensed products, BUT then won't let people license the product, then you are running a giant,
FRAUDULENT SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never even seen such a BIZARRE licensing protocol. Do I have these troubles licensing my stuff from Toontrack, XLN, Native Instruments, Imageline, Ableton, Propellerhead...etc? NOPE! THOSE APPLICATIONS actually WORK! With KORG, I'm stuck with broken software that I can NOT get support for. Nice.

Q1. I've entered the License Code that was issued into the "License Authorization" dialog box, but it was rejected.
A1. The License Code is only for the computer that displayed the Locking Code. It cannot be used on any other computer.
If the computer that displayed the Locking Code does not accept the License Code, please check the following points.
Did you enter the License Code correctly? (If the computer on which this product was installed is different than the computer you used for license authorization you should also check that the Locking Code was entered correctly.)
Are the date and time set correctly on the computer?

Check the caps lock and num lock settings, if it still doesn't work, try it with a different keyboard, as maybe it isn't actually typing in the right numbers or letters.

Do you not think I have done ALL of this multiple times over? Of course, I attempted to troubleshoot it before completely losing my shit with Korg. Of course I went to the FAQ and read why this sometimes happens. NONE of what they say might be wrong, is wrong in my case. I checked the license codes, I checked the date and time. Nothing wrong on my end.murnau wrote:I logged into my account just for you..Carpenter wrote:I have spent at least an HOURtrying to simply authorize the Korg Legacy Collection that came with my Taktile 49. Does anyone else find it strange that Korg won't offer support for a product that's not licensed, but then they won't let you license the product. If I could get the product licensed, I wouldn't need the support in the first place.
FRAUD ALERT!!!

Echoes in the Attic wrote:I would sue them. They are clearly trying to get rich by selling unauthorizable licenses to unsuspecting victims, hoping that the few who buy their fraudulent licenses will just give up and not spread the word about the mischievous practices. Don't give in, fight back! We will defeat the evil Korg empire which was built on the backs of the poor working class who have had their hard earned money stolen in return for soft synth license codes that can't be registered. Those Korg executives are laughing all the way to bank now, but soon they will be dragged into court and subsequently prison, muttering under their breath "...we would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids..."

Not sure which website you tried but for bundled software (opposing to the normal versions) there seems to be a dedicated website:
http://www.korg-license-center.com/
I just found this when having a look at the Taktile controller website.
Personally i have the Collections (analog + Digital) since they were released and i need my account at the Korg User Net website for that:
