After eating some chocolate, I decided that a lobotomy would not taste as good.

So, Feb 2016, Zebra 3 recent development mentioned by Urs has been...
- Wavetable expansion and editing capabilities
- New Filter Designs (Synthex filter beyond Diva quality) among others being to be tested in Protoware ie RePro-1.
- New Arpeggiator capabilities.
Others missed ?

I hope it has a GUI very similar to the wide version of Plugmon's Massive Modular.

If that's possible, on-the-fly (JIT) synthesizer compilation, which would potentially benefit the processor performance. This technology would then of course be retrofitted to Diva.aesthete wrote:So, Feb 2016, Zebra 3 recent development mentioned by Urs has been...

I don't think JIT compilation would ever be better than hand-coded ASM optimization. AFAIK JIT always comes along with some CPU overheads, so it's not exactly the best thing for realtime performance, I would say.

Just use the brilliance oscillator effect (counterclockwise), instant oldifier!knowix wrote:I may have mentioned it before. But it would be great to be able to be able to age up wavetables in a similar manner to some of the 80s hybrid synths. Since those old synths didn't push their filters too hard, what's standing in the way of Zebra from doing reasonably faithful emulations of them?
