The price point should be a good deciding factor i guess.
Also demos are available for both synths.
Considering your (post) history here, i'm not sure if you're serious though?

Can't go wrong with both of those... just demo and decide yourself

Buy A.c.e first then when you understand it, move on to bazille.
In the meantime you can try to fine Beatzille which is a cut down copy of Bazille. You have to buy a beat (german) magazine i think to get it.

Either, I went for the super massive Bazille first as it seemed like it had a few more tweaking options, but then I got Ace and loved that too. Demo both and get either, you really can't go wrong !

+1 Great advice. I just recently picked up ACE and Beatzille. Going through the video demos and starting to understand ACE already helped me heaps when I opened up Beatzille. And for the price of admission, Beatzille is a stzille!V0RT3X wrote:Buy A.c.e first then when you understand it, move on to bazille.

Yet to pick up ACE here, but I do love a bit of Bazille. They're fairly different beasts from what I understand though. ACE is more of an analogue modelled modular system while Bazille is very much digital (except the filters).
What filters they are though! Loads of the patches I've made don't even have the oscillators plugged in and just use those glorious filters in self-oscillation!
I guess it's worth taking both of them for a test drive. ACE looks easier to program than Bazille, but if you're looking at doing FM/PM style sounds rather than straight analogue, Bazille is where it's at.

I had a similar issue awhile back but for me it was between Bazille and Diva. Zero synth background, wanted to go modular and realized I would be spending forever. Love the sounds of Diva, but was intrigued by the patching of Bazille. Bought Bazille and I love it. A lot of effort for a newb but for me it is worth it as I am learning about synths and patching.
I looked at ACE and thought, why buy ACE when I could have Bazille (bigger is better right....)?
There are lots of good tutorials on youtube.
I guess I should download the demo for ACE to see what it is about but I have to figure this thing out first.
Then Diva. Then Zebra3.
Moneypit.
