Does EchoBoy ever get the fifty percent off treatment? It always seems to be one of the plugins responsible for the "up to" part of the SoundToys sales announcements.

I have a few of their paid plugs and some freebies, upgrade cost for me is $125, seriously tempting. But I've sworn off buying music stuff for a while... mostly... Only thing in there I actually lust after a bit is Decapitator, and I do have other somewhat similar tools, so I'll maybe pass...

I guess using a picture of someone being decapitated wouldn't had caused as much stir

Hey everyone, I want to personally introduce the iZotope RX Plugin Pack. For the many people here bought the Music Production Bundle, the RX Plugin Pack Crossgrade is on sale for $49 (equivalent restoration suites from other companies sell for over 10x that):

It's near and dear to my heart because I've been using the RX plugins in a mix context for years and have long been recommending iZotope to release them. Here's how I use them:

It's near and dear to my heart because I've been using the RX plugins in a mix context for years and have long been recommending iZotope to release them. Here's how I use them:
De-click
- Use before compressing to remove the smacking and clicking sounds that singers' mouths make
Use after LA2A-style compressors to get rid of the initial transients they let through on basses
Use as the first insert to even out bassists who fingerpick inconsistently (I'm speaking of myself here) or use a pick
- Use as the first insert to tame noisy guitars and bass guitars, especially before amp emulations
Use before compressing to get rid of low-end build-up when recording drums with lots of mics

The RX suite is really amazing! I guess I need to have purchased the music bundle in order to be eligable for the crossgrade?
The De-Clicker works great on vocals to get rid of those nasty saliva noises that singers make.

So, I bought the Music Production Bundle but then did not activate all the plugins to my iZotope account: I'm only using Ozone 7 Advanced, Alloy 2, the new free Delay and Nectar Elements (means I do NOT use Trash 2 and Nectar 2 PS).Uncle E wrote:Hey everyone, I want to personally introduce the iZotope RX Plugin Pack. Short question: would that be qualifying for the crossgrade? Who makes the decision? jrrshop.com or iZotope (when registering the product)?
Cheers Jens
